WKU NOVA Center: Nondestructive Analysis Using the Large Chamber Scanning Electron Microscope

Ed Kintzel talks about the testing capabilities of Large Chamber-Scanning Electron Microscope (LC-SEM) at Western Kentucky University (WKU)’s Nondestructive Analysis (NOVA) Center. The acquisition of this large microscope has positioned WKU as the only university in North America with an instrument of this type. The NOVA Center will be a national focal point for nondestructive measurements. Ed presents ongoing transdisciplinary studies that highlight the extensive suite of materials characterization techniques available at the WKU NOVA Center.
