In keeping with the WKU Research Foundations commitment to inspire and promote research for discovery, innovation, creativity and service, the President and the Board of the Research Foundation are proud to announce the approval of $300,000 in Research Foundation F&A funds to support the university’s work in research and creative activity during the 2015-2016 academic year.
A portion of these funds will be used to fund the Research and Creative Activity Committee (RCAC) while the remaining funds will be allocated to the colleges and the University Libraries. This one-time allocation is meant to help sustain WKU’s momentum in research and creative activity, even in the midst of a tight financial year.
“This action by the Research Foundation gives a particularly valuable and welcome boost to our work in research and creative activity right now,” says David D. Lee, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. “I’d like to thank the Executive Committee of the Research Foundation Board and its President, Cheryl Stevens, for providing this important support for our efforts.”
